The PSU Vocal Collective is a small vocal ensemble performing a wide range of contemporary repertoire, including jazz, pop, rock, gospel and more. Composed of 8 to 14 voices and a rhythm section, the Collective focuses on music that features rich harmonies and intricate vocal textures, offering captivating performances that showcase the ensemble’s versatility and artistry.

Pablo Rivarola presents "the Session" at Key's Lounge

The session begins at 8PM every Tuesday with an hour of jazz from a rotating house band led by Portland based band leader and trumpet player, Pablo Rivarola. The last two hours of the session will be a curated jazz jam featuring some of Portland’s best young jazz musicians. Join us every Tuesday night at your favorite mid-century lounge for some of Portland’s best jazz. No cover charge and happy hour prices all night long!

Myrtle Brown started her love as a Vocalist here in 1968 with a local band for about a year until the leader moved out of town. She has been back on the music scene since 1980 to the present. Has enjoyed performing in musical theater, traveling, recording, singing on the local scene and abroad. She has also opened for many National Entertainers. She loves her Gospel, but shares her gift with other styles of music.

At a momentous first meeting at a coffee shop in Fez, Moroccan vocalist Lamiae Naki and multi-instrumentalist Nat Hulskamp composed their first song and decided to get married. Brought together by their deep knowledge of the music of both sides of the Straits of Gibraltar — Spanish flamenco and Moroccan Arabic music — they created Seffarine.
