Eric Deaton Quintet presents One Set Wednesday at the Jazz Station in Eugene

This One Set Wednesday featuring guitarist Eric Deaton and his quintet will feature a concert of contemporary jazz and original compositions. Trumpeter Paul Krueger will host the Second Set Jam Session afterwards. 
 
Eric Deaton is a guitarist based in Eugene, Oregon. With over 9 years of performance experience, he has played an array of shows spanning various genres. Some of his instructors/mentors include Mike Reetz, Michael Radliff, Joe Freuen, Mike Denny, Robin Fey, Olem Alves, and Avery Scanlon. For his personal ventures, the main focus is performing music from the likes of Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Roy Hargrove, Radiohead, Ben Wendel, and more, while also applying those influences into his own compositions. He will be graduating from the University of Oregon this year with his Undergraduate degree in jazz studies.
