UO Small Jazz Ensembles play at the Jazz Station in Eugene

The University of Oregon concert series is in full swing with the return of the student jazz ensembles. This series aims to support the next generation of jazz musicians participating in UO’s renowned Jazz Studies program. This particular jazz studies program is one of the most exciting programs in the country and cultivates outstanding performing ensembles including this evening’s student combos.

Guest artist Matt Sazima is a jazz pianist, composer, and educator in Portland. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Jazz Keyboard from California Institute of the Arts and a Bachelor of Music in Improvised Music from Willamette University.
