Jack Radsliff has proven himself to be one of the most in demand guitarists in the Pacific Northwest. In Portland, Radsliff can be heard frequently playing in bands led by Chuck Israels, Ron Steen, Michael Raynor, Alan Jones, Christopher Brown, Cyrus Nabipoor, George Colligan, Kerry Politzer, Galen Clark, Dan Balmer, Idit Shner, Kathleen Hollingsworth, and Torrey Newhart: a veritable who’s who of Oregon’s jazz musicians. In addition to his steady work around Portland, last year Jack had the opportunity to work as sideman to Jonathan Pinson, Greg Ward, Domo Branch and Charlie Brown; finish his upcoming record “Barefoot” featuring Randy Porter, Todd Sickafoose and Alan Jones (PJCE, summer 2024); and tour extensively with Ian George, Cyrus Nabipoor and his own trio, with more to come in 2024.
Jack’s playing can be heard on more than a dozen records from bandleaders including Tony Glausi, Martina DaSilva and Cyrus Nabipoor. He also has two records under his own name; “Migration Patterns” (2017) and “Barefoot” (2024). The Jack Radsliff Trio will be touring the music from “Barefoot” up and down the west coast Summer 2024.
