Naked Moon is a Portland-based free jazz trio. They swirl together compositions inspired by neo-soul, bebop, classical, and funk rock styles with eclectic and spontaneous improvosations. Each member is a force in their own right and together they deliver a sound as powerful as it is unpredictable. Naked Moon is:
Mike Ewers: Mercenary bassist for the likes of Silent Temple, Bodhi Mojo, and many more. Versed in extreme metal all the way to jazz ballads, he is unafraid to shred a 5-string bass when the moment strikes.

Daniel Surprenant: Abstract sound artist and percussionist extraordinaire. Their command of odd meters and tricky grooves is only matched by their wild creativity.

Troll Hart: Mastermind behind Silent Temple, now following in the steps of the likes of Erroll Garner and Bill Evans, they are a compositional mind unlike any you are likely to hear. Likes long walks in the woods and climbing ever higher towards musical proficiency.
