Outer Orbit (PDX) is a funk-soul collective led by Galen Clark (Trio Subtonic) featuring an all-star line up including Tyrone Hendrix (Prince, Stevie Wonder), Damian Erskine (Skerik Band, Peter Erskine), Peter Knudsen (Ghost-note) and Mike Elson (Swatkins) and a rotating cast of special guests including Sarah Clarke (Dirty Revival), Saeeda Wright & Brian Foxworth. Outer Orbit brings original burning soul and pocket heavy funk while drawing on a range of influences from Sly Stone and The Meters to Aretha Franklin and Bill Withers.
