The Willamette Jazz Trio performs at the Jazz Station - Eugene

Nik Barber kicks off this season's One Set Wednesdays by bringing The Willamette Jazz Trio for a concert full of improvisation in the style of Brad Mehldau featuring standards, classics, and arrangements. Afterwards, pianist Keith Brown will be hosting a 2nd Set Jam Session!

The Willamette Jazz Trio has been a driving force in the Eugene Jazz Scene for the past 3 years. Robert Bohall, Robert Lassila, and Nik Barber are either in their last year of graduate studies in the University of Oregon’s Jazz Studies program, or have recently completed their degree. The three musicians released a Christmas album in 2022 entitled “We Three Kings” and are poised to release another at the end of this year. Each musician brings their own influences to the band stand, and the musical chemistry they have shows that they trust deeply trust each other.
