Jayson Tipp & Under The Lake feat. Eldon T. Jones is at the Jack London
2023 year marks 30 years since Keyboard player Jayson Tipp founded contemporary jazz group Under The Lake. Over the past three decades Under The Lake has released 6 albums including: Dive In (1993), Up For Air (1996), People Together (2007) and Jazz, Groove & Attitude (2018), Your Horizon Too (2020) and their most recent release Old Friends, New Grooves (2021). The band’s credits include live performances with a "who's who" list of jazz artists such as Joe Sample, Billy Cobham, Keiko Matsui, Stanley Jordan, and others with appearances at venerated clubs and venues throughout North America. According to Smoothjazz.com founder, Sandy Shore "Under The Lake is everything I love about contemporary jazz... accessible melodies with a driving rhythm section, buoyant sax solos, commanding keys and gripping guitar." Tipp is currently enjoying the success of his first solo releases "Groove Together" co-written and produced by smooth jazz all star saxophonist Darren Rahn, and “Time To Roll” co-written and produced by Adam Hawley (featuring Quintin Gerard W). Tipp’s first solo album is due out in Fall 2023.
