The Portland-based trio, D.V.R. (DREAMS VS. REALITY), is an original music project from Matt Sazima (keys and vocals), Kirk Kalbfleisch (drums), and Sam Arnold (bass). The group's crossover musical style takes influence from jazz fusion, beat music, neo-soul, and drum and bass. D.V.R. strikes a beautiful balance of tight groove arrangements and organic improvisation.
