Steve Wilson with the PSU Jazz Band perform at the Lincoln Performance Hall 

Steve Wilson has attained ubiquitous status in the studio and on the stage with the greatest names in jazz. A bandleader in his own right, Jazz Times calls him “the consummate saxophonist-composer and “one of the finest alto and soprano saxophonists of our time.” He will perform with the Portland State Jazz Band, directed by Professor George Colligan.

On December 5th, you can also enjoy a free master class in which PSU jazz students perform and Wilson gives feedback and coaching on their performance in front of a live audience.
