Pluto Juice strives to imagine the music of the universe and beyond. A project started by the friendship of Dayna Stephens & Anthony Fung, they’ve created a sound which brings together the nu-wave of electronic elements to the world of improvised music. Such compositions featured on their self-titled album such as “Gargantua” & “Outskirts of Neptune,” gives their listeners a futuristic sense of what music might sound like with their extra-terrestrial counterparts. Pluto Juice was conceived in Toronto, Canada. After a string of shows at the world renowned club, The Rex Hotel in 2018; they began their journey, and Pluto Juice was born. In 2019 they recorded their debut album at Union Sound Company in Toronto and their long-awaited self-titled album was released June 2021 on Contagious Music. They will be making their Portland 1905 debut June 30th & July 1st.

In addition to keeping a finger on the pulse of the local scene, The 1905 has hosted internationally recognized musicians such as 5 time Grammy award-winner Antonio Sanchez, and Jazz greats like Ralph Peterson Jr.
