Natsukashii Soul play at the Jazz Station in Eugene OR

Natsukashii Soul is a jazz/funk/neo-soul quintet from Eugene, Oregon and has been gaining attention with its distinctive musicality.

  • Autumn Rose vocals
  • Frank Visconti trumpet
  • Vincent Panero keys/guitar
  • Milo Brosamer bass
  • Elijah Wojcik drums

Formed at the end of 2021, they have played over 35 gigs. The band's repertoire includes vocal based jazz tunes and originals led by Autumn Rose whose voice is distinctively soulful. Experienced trumpet player Frank Visconti adds melodic color over complex chord structures played by Vincent Panero on keys and guitar. Highly syncopated rhythms from Milo Brosamer on bass and Elijah Wojcik on drums from these two incredibly talented musicians weave the band's sound into a unique experience with deep roots in jazz. Their set lists cover tunes by Freddie Hubbard, Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, Wayne Shorter, Oliver Nelson and Amy Winehouse. The band is working on an original studio album while performing many live shows this year.  Original live multi-track recordings are available on iTunes and Spotify.

Autumn Rose is from Eugene and has been singing all her life. She also speaks Japanese and named the band after her favorite word, Natsukashii which is the feeling you get when you sense something and it brings you back to happy thoughts of the past. She writes songs for the band as well as arranging our tunes.

Frank Visconti is from New York City and studied trumpet from 3rd grade with classical trumpet teacher Richard Brooks who was prinicipal trumpet at the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. He also studied with legendary trumpet player Laurie Frink and Lew Soloff.

Vincent Panero is from Santa Cruz and performed in Japan for five years. He also speaks Japanese. He plays keys and writes many of our original tunes.

Milo Brosamer is from the Bay area and is a student at the University of Oregon. He has an unrivaled musical memory and is one of the most talented bass players in town.

Elijah Wojcik is from Eugene and recently graduated from South Eugene High School which is where Autumn also attended. Like Milo, he is clearly a prodigy with a huge repertoire of rhythmic references.
