Their collective resume reads like a "Who's Who" of jazz, blues and soul. They have the talent and confidence to be completely spontaneous, from blistering solos to improvised arrangements and segues. Brown is an American jazz drummer and one of the most prominent jazz musicians in Portland. He came to Motown via Martha Reeves, who hired him in 1967 to join her band. Many Motown Records artists employed Brown as a session musician in the late 60s and early 70s, including Martha and the Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations and Marvin Gaye.
