​In the beginning, a friend of a friend knew someone who knew Thea, who wanted to sing smoky jazz in non-smoky venues. Initially singing with a sextet as well as in a guitar/vocal duo, Thea and the group took shape finally as a piano trio. Frank knew Larry and suggested that he become the drummer (there was a no-drummer format in the early stages), and we have the privilege of working with the best bassists in the area.

We've been dubbed the house band at local venues, play to delighted audiences at local wineries and cocktail lounges, and been hired (and re-hired!) for house parties and corporate events.
