The Jazz Station is proud to present internationally acclaimed Miguel Zenón and his quartet featuring pianist Luis Perdomo, bassist Hans Glawisching, and Henry Cole on drums. Zenón is a multiple Grammy nominated, and Guggenheim and MacArthur“Genius Grant” Fellowship award winning saxophonist and composer. 

Zenón has been recognized as the 2014 JazzTimes Artist and Alto Saxophonist of the Year and the 2015, 2018, 2019, and 2020 Jazz Journalist Association Alto Saxophonist of the Year.

One of the Who’s Who of contemporary jazz, Miguel has performed with the SFJAZZ Collective, Charlie Haden, Fred Hersch, and Danilo Perez; and been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and Boston Globe.
