Yoav Eshed is an award-winning guitarist and composer born in Israel, based in Brooklyn, NY. Yoav started to play the piano at the age of 3 and displayed prodigious abilities playing Haydn, Bach and Mendelssohn. He picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and found his unique way to play the guitar with a pianist approach. Since then he has been performing around the world with top Israeli jazz musicians. He has annually received the America-Israel Cultural Foundation scholarships for Jazz since 2008. Received scholarships from the ‘NY New School for Jazz’ and won the ‘Prestigious Dean Award’ from Berklee as well as the Guitar Achievement Award from for outstanding musicianship. Winner of Lee Ritenour jazz competition ‘Six String Theory’, winner of the annual jazz competition in Israel ‘The Jazz Player’ and prize winner of the Montreux Jazz Festival Guitar Competition in Switzerland, Won Best Solo Instrumental prize of ‘Made in New York’ jazz international competition. Drummer Michael Raynor splits his time between Portland and Chicago, where he spent more than twenty years playing with tenor sax icon and NEA Jazz Master, Von Freeman. Raynor also toured with vocalist Kurt Elling and can be heard on two of his Grammy nominated recordings, including "Live in Chicago," featuring Jon Hendricks. He has worked with Freddie Hubbard, Eric Alexander, Tia Fuller, Steve Coleman, Gary Bartz, Johnny Griffin, Ira Sullivan, Jon Faddis, Bob Sheppard, Bobby Broom, Fareed Haque, Howard Levy, Arturo Sandoval, Chuck Israels, Nancy King, and Bob Dorough among others. In addition to playing festivals throughout Europe, North America, and Australia, Raynor has co-led tours in both Asia and Africa as a United States Jazz Ambassador.

Sherry Alves’s performances are an exploration of the great songwriters and storytellers of the past and present. Her clear tone and improvisatory vocal approach create fresh and nuanced musical experiences. Her debut album You Can Have Him was released in 2011 on Teal Creek Records. She is also the featured vocalist on Brazilian composer and pianist Cassio Vianna’s 2013 record Letters to Grace: A Song Cycle.
