Katie DeCosta is a baritone saxophonist from Eugene, OR currently in her second year of studying jazz at the University of Oregon. Throughout high school, Katie participated in the All-State Jazz Band and actively led South Eugene High School’s Band Council. She has studied with Idit Shner, Steve Owen, Joe Manis, and Roger Woods. Joining her for her very first One Set Wednesday are four of Eugene’s finest, Ryan Helms, Ryan Hirth, Robert Lassila, and Jay Veach.
