Jon Cowherd & Mercy Project is an all star ensemble which features Brian Blade, Steve Cardenas, Jon Cowherd, and John Patitucci. The band, which has been in existence since 2010, will add saxophonist Chris Potter, who is a guest on Cowherd’s new trio project “Pride & Joy”, for a winter tour of dates in Texas, Oregon and New York ending with a week at the famous Village Vanguard in New York City.
