Henry Ivie-Gardner is a young musician from Bend, Oregon, and is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies at the University of Oregon. He has always had a love for improvisation and the creation of music, even before discovering jazz. As a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and composer, Henry's music is always full of life. His goal is to share unique and powerful music with the world, led by his curiosity, and his love for creation. Henry is a dynamic player, who is always exploring new sounds and ideas and striving to grow as a musician and a listener.
Robert Lassila is a bassist and composer living in Eugene, Oregon. Being a versatile sideman, he finds himself performing many different genres of music. For his own projects the main focus is composing and performing original jazz-influenced music. He recently graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor’s in jazz studies. During his time in school, he studied composition and arranging with Paul Krueger and Steve Owen, and bass performance with Tyler Abbott. He is now a Graduate Employee at UO getting his masters in jazz arranging and composition.
Will Glausi is an alto saxophonist and woodwind player at the University of Oregon, expecting his Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies in June of 2023. Will has traveled and played around North America including making it as a finalist in the North American Saxophone Alliance jazz competition and landing in the New York jazz scene for a period of time. He plans to continue traveling and playing and letting the two lead him to new opportunities.
Ethan Burton is a junior attending Oregon State University. While he isn't getting a degree in music, he tries to involve himself in as many musical opportunities as possible. Whether that be going to jams, playing music with friends, playing in the jazz band, or playing gigs, he is always doing his best to progress his musical identity and sound concept.
Marcus Rudolph is a drummer from Los Angeles, and is currently living in Corvallis, Oregon. He draws influence from forward thinking musicians such as Brian Blade, Eric Harland, and Herbie Hancock. Marcus’s style is unique and dynamic, and always brings energy to the musicians around him.
