D.V.R. (Dreams Vs. Reality) is a Portland-based trio composed of Kirk Kalbfleisch on drums, Matt Sazima on keys/vocals, and Sam Arnold on bass. The band is a collaborative project that showcases the collective songwriting and musicianship from three of PDX's most talented musicians. The three compose all original music with crossover stylings that bring influences from modern jazz, R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop, and drum & bass. D.V.R. has been a mainstay at the 1905 for years and cannot wait to bring their energy and music back to the club after its recent reopening!

In addition to keeping a finger on the pulse of the local scene, The 1905 has hosted internationally recognized musicians such as 5 time Grammy award-winner Antonio Sanchez, and Jazz greats like Ralph Peterson Jr.
