David Barber plays the 1905
- David Barber on vocals
- Patrick Goličnik on bass
- Todd Marston on piano
David Barber makes music that breathes deeply. For years he has had firm roots planted in the Portland jazz scene as a hip-hop artist and poet. Over time, his passion to make music morphed from spoken word and freestyle rap, to a more traditional vocal jazz approach where he finds his home in singing, writing, and improvising in a style similar to artists like Betty Carter or Jazzmeia Horn. This set will feature new and old original music as well as songs we collectively know and love.
