Chris Morrissey is a bassist, singer, composer and music director from New York City. He has toured and recorded with the Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet, Beat Music, the Jim Campilongo Trio, the Dave King Trucking Company, Chris Thile's "Live From Here" house band, Gretchen Parlato, Boy George, Gabriel Kahane, Margaret Glaspy and Norah Jones.
As a music director, he has assembled bands, arranged and produced tours and TV appearances for Sara Bareilles, Sharon Van Etten, Trixie Whitley, Maren Morris, Elle King, Blu DeTiger and Clairo.

Grey Like The Color, his 6th album as a leader is set to be released in Spring 2023.
