Original compositions from BrandonLee Cierley and other members of the band as well as some covers. Music ranges from modern jazz, lofi & groove.BrandonLee Cierley is a Saxophonist born in Tacoma, WA whose music combines elements from Modern Jazz, Hiphop, and Lofi. BrandonLee attended Pacific Lutheran University where he earned his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and minored in Music. While being a band leader and solo artist, BrandonLee has showcased his talents working with some notable musicians and producers from around the world such as Jam of the Week Founder/Portland based Trumpeter Farnell Newton, Braxton Cook, EyeLoveBrandon, Jonny Tobin, multi-instrumentalist Machado Mijiga, and Portland based Producer POSY. In 2018, BrandonLee Cierley ventured outside of his typical genre to be a guest artist with TwoFriends, an LA-based DJ Duo, at sold out music festivals Lucky & Paradiso. BrandonLee has also joined the stage with world renowned Saxophonist Mike Phillips who has played with musical giants such as Michael Jackson, Prince & Stevie Wonder.
BrandonLee Cierley continues to perform across the Pacific Northwest. BrandonLee’s music has been featured on multiple Pacific Northwest Jazz platforms such as All About Jazz & KNKX in Seattle, WA as well as KMHD & Jazz Society of Oregon. Features included live studio sessions, musical reviews/write-ups and compositions featured on live radio. BrandonLee Cierley released his debut album "Here Comes a New Challenger" in July of 2020 bringing in over 25k streams which earned him a spot on PDX's jazz station KMHD's Best Single of the Year. On July 8th, 2022, BrandonLee released a much anticipated summer 2-pack EP "Thank You for Waiting" featuring LA-based Saxophonist Braxton Cook. This EP was placed on Spotify’s Editorial Playlist “All New Jazz” reaching over 1.6M streams and also received a writeup from Abe Beeson, Host of KNKX’s The New Cool. In 2022, BrandonLee received the Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) “Make | Learn | Build” grant of $3000 which helped aid in releasing his sophomore record “Camaraderie” which has been placed on over 30 Spotify playlists including two of the biggest followed Editorial Playlists, "All About Jazz" and "Fresh Finds: Jazz”. “Camaraderie” received album reviews from one of Seattle prestigious jazz writers, Paul Rauch, from "All About Jazz" as well as from Robert Ham of "Jazz Society of Oregon’'. The album was picked up by local Portland based label Lofijazzsoul. BrandonLee continues to release music via PDX based label “Lofijazzsoul” with new musical collaborators and has released multiple projects of his own along the way. BrandonLee recently teamed up with PDX Producer POSY in releasing “Letters to Japan”, an EP that celebrates their collective Japanese background which has also been added to a plethora of playlists including Spotify Editorial Playlists and has reached over 50K streams. BrandonLee is set to record and release his upcoming third studio album later in 2024.
