Welcome guitarist Antonio Soltero and his quintet for this week's One Set Wednesday as he presents a concert of original, hard bop, and contemporary compositions and boleros. Stick around for the 2nd Set Jam Session hosted by trumpeter Paul Krueger.

Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Antonio Soltero is a guitarist, composer, and arranger. Starting on violin from an early age, Antonio switched to learning the guitar which quickly became his passion. Throughout his High School years he studied with Austin guitarist Glenn Rexach and is currently studying with Paul Krueger, Avery Scanlon, Keith Brown, and Joe Manis at the University of Oregon. Antonio has studied and performed a wide variety of styles ranging from Jazz, Indie Rock, Funk, Bluegrass, Salsa, and Mexican folkloric music. Antonio has performed alongside artists such as Randy Porter, Charlie Doggett, Stockton Helbing, and Diane Schurr. He currently teaches private lessons as well as performs throughout the Eugene and Austin area.
