With a simultaneous career as a ‘real-deal’ jazz singer and a talented songwriter Anandi has released four independent albums of original songs and three jazz recordings. She has become a well-respected jazz singer, singing at venues like the legendary Jimmy Mack’s, The 1905, the Jack London Revue and the PDX Jazz Festival and has played with local luminaries such as Randy Porter, Greg Goebel, Dave Captein, John Stowell & Ron Steen. At the November 17th show you can expect a mix of the full spectrum of jazz, re-imagined pop tunes and original compositions.

Every day of the week in the evenings, and often multiple times per day on weekends, The 1905 plays host to the exquisite jazz community that Portland has to offer. In addition to keeping a finger on the pulse of the local scene, The 1905 has hosted internationally recognized musicians such as 5 time Grammy award-winner Antonio Sanchez, and Jazz greats like Ralph Peterson Jr.
