Join one of Eugene's newest bands as they play two up-beat, swinging sets of music from the libraries of Count Basie, Thad Jones, John Clayton, and may other jazz greats.  The 1st Monday Jazz Orchestra will be featuring the best musicians in town to play classic jazz literature every month and invite young musicians to come and sit-in for the second set.

Saxophones- Idit Shner, Steve Owen, Joe Manis, Sean Flannery, and Roger Woods

Trumpets- Steve Sharp, Paul Krueger, Burnett Dillon, and Sarah Viens

Trombones- Ron Bertucci, Matt Hettwer, Henry Henniger and Glenn Griffith

Rhythm Section- Robin Fey (guitar), Torrey Newhart (piano), Tyler Abbott (bass), and Austin Haas (drums).

The $10 cover at the door is reduced to $5 for strong college and high school musicians wanting to sit in during the band's second set.
