Fans, you don't want to miss this night as we have several surprises in store for you... First, award wining pianist Brian Ward, on a visit home from Kansas, will join Bobby for this special evening. Dr. Brian Ward, D.M.A., is a keyboardist, recording artist, composer, arranger, and educator originally from the Pacific Northwest. For many years, Brian was the musical director and pianist for the Bobby Torres Ensemble. Long time fans will remember Brian from the unforgettable nights he performed at Jimmy Mak's with Bobby. We are so happy to have him back for this performance at Arrivederci's. As if this was not exciting enough, steel drum musician Christopher Kern joins Bobby during the first set to transport us briefly to the Caribbean Islands. A masterful player, Christopher is part of a small group of recognized pioneers in the steel drum community worldwide. Adding another bright spot to the evening, Bobby has invited his nephew, Aaron Roney to play the drums with the Ensemble for the first time. With a standing invitation to "leave the kitchen to perform with the Ensemble", we hope that owner Steve Hanneman will share his talents with all of us in the second set. We hope you can join us in welcoming Brian, Christopher, Aaron and - hopefully Steve.
Gather your family and friends to turn up the heat with Bobby Torres' sizzling Latin Jazz at Arrivederci's. Enjoy Katy Hanneman's warm hospitality and the family's fantastic Italian food and drink while listening to some of the best live jazz in Portland! Spread the word...like us on FaceBook and text your friends. Arrivederci's is family friendly for the entire evening. How often do you get to take the kids out for a night of live music with you? Adult Fans, if you can't get a table reservation, join us at the open bar...where there is always room for you!
We appreciate your support of live music in the NW and look forward to seeing you at Arrivederci's.
