If you love seeing live Jazz performed by the best musicians in an intimate setting, then the LooseWig house concert series is for you!

Three LooseWig Jazz house concerts are coming up on Saturday, March 11th, Saturday, March 18th, and Saturday, April 8th! The concerts start at 7:30pm and the door opens at 6:45pm.


This Saturday 3/11 - Kevin Deitz and his Portland Jazz All-stars!

Kevin's group includes six amazing local musical stars including Clay Giberson (keyboards), Paul Mazzio (trumpet), Mike Snyder (drums), Mike Horsfall (vibes), Jeff Homan (saxophones)!

We're asking for $20 to $25 as a donation for the musicians ($10 for kids/students), but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. Also, if you can bring something very small to share, that would be great - chips, popcorn, cookies, beer, wine, etc. You can RSVP on Facebook on the LooseWig website.


Next Saturday 3/18 - Quinn Walker and the Interbloom Quintet!

Quinn's group includes young, newly emerging jazz artists from the Portland area! They include Quinn Walker (trumpet), Nicole McCabe (alto sax), Carlos Andres Moreno (drums and composition), Nate Francis (acoustic bass) and Julian Lopez (piano).

We're asking for $20 as a donation for the musicians ($10 for kids/students), but nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. Saturday 4/8 - Bryant Allard and his Powerhouse Quintet!

Bay area saxophonist Steve Feierabend, Portland trumpeter Bryant Allard, and special guest pianist Randy Porter, all originally from the San Diego area, will reunite to perform as the Powerhouse Quintet, a group formed in 2000 by Bryant Allard, Steve Feierabend, and New York bassist Bim Strasberg. Bryant and Steve will be joined by:

  • Randy Porter-piano
  • Dave Captein-bass
  • Ron Steen -drums
