First Monday Night Big Band - Series Finale at the Jazz Station in Eugene

First Monday Night Big Band closes out its 2025-2026 season this evening. The Jazz Station Big Band will return on Monday, October 5, 2026. 

This large ensemble, directed by UO Professor Emeritus of Jazz Studies, Steve Owen, is home to many of the region’s top professional players that meet every first Monday of the month to play compositions from classic works by Basie and Ellington to pieces written by contemporary composers.
