Wyatt Button is a Portland-based Jazz Artist, Pianist, and Vocalist. He first studied jazz at Western Oregon University and subsequently moved to Portland, where he continued to developed his artistry as a student and resident at the Alan Jones Academy of Music. Now, Wyatt is an established figure in the Portland Music scene, performing regularly with his jazz trio, as a solo piano/vocal act, as well as fronting cover band The Zippers, who pay tribute to Wyatt’s biggest musical inspirations, performing their renditions of hits from the likes of Prince, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Michael Jackson, and Elton John. He is also a keyboardist/vocalist of Pysch-Rock band The Pele Rava. Wyatt’s sound could be compared to the vocal stylings of Chet Baker and Stevie Wonder, blending classic American songbook repertoire with a fresh R&B style. His debut release Live at Blue Butler highlights Wyatt’s influences From classic Jazz, to 70s Soul and Modern Neo-soul. All recorded in front of a live audience at Blue Butler Studios in SE Portland. In early November 2026 Wyatt pivoted to unveil a new side of his music with the single release “Astray” A polished Alt-Pop/Jazz track accompanied by a captivating music video. On November 28th, he released a 4-track Christmas EP featuring his own arrangements performed by his trio. Wyatt continues to push the boundaries of what a Jazz Artist can be by being an amplifier of his diverse musical background, and wearing his influences on his sleeve.
