Tony Coleman: A Tribute to the Kings is at the Jack London Revue

Tony Coleman lives in Oregon now, but he’s one of the most revered blues drummers in the world, having toured with a long list of blues legends including Otis Clay, Bobby Blue Bland, Albert Collins, Etta James, James Cotton, Buddy Guy—and the three Kings celebrated in this show: Albert, Freddie, and especially BB, with whom Coleman performed and recorded for 29 years.  In addition to performing covers of songs associated with the “3 Kings,” the group will be playing several of Coleman’s bluesy, funky originals.
