Vancouver-based guitarist, composer, and oud master Gordon Grdina and his Nomad Trio featuring masters of improvisation Matt Mitchell on piano and Jim Black on drums celebrate their sophomore release Boiling Point with an eight-city North American tour Friday, June 24 – Sunday, July 3 with stops in Toronto, Chicago, Brooklyn, Portland, Seattle, Vancouver, Ottawa, and Hamilton.

Boiling Point picks up where the trio's self-titled 2020 debut left off. With technical and creative genuises like Mitchell, one of the most audacious, in-demand pianists on the New York Scene, and Black, the propulsive rock and electronica-inspired drummer behind bands like Berne's Bloodcount and Human Feel, the possibilities are endless.
