Elijah Rock sings at the Jack London
For his debut at the Jack London Review, award-winning vocalist Elijah Rock brings Memories Unleashed—an emotionally rich concert experience drawn from his acclaimed album Memories Unleashed – Impulse 1, now touring nationally and internationally.
A Singer’s Singer, Elijah Rock is a modern-day rarity—an artist defined by the refined craft of classic showmanship. It is increasingly rare to witness an artist like Elijah Rock emerging as one of the premier vocalists of The Great American Songbook today. Rooted in its elegance and swing, this performance seamlessly blends timeless standards with inspired originals, delivered through Rock’s commanding, effervescent baritone and unmistakable stage presence.
With distinctive arrangements shaped by jazz, blues, and vintage R&B, Elijah transforms each song into a moment—intimate, entertaining, cinematic, and alive with emotional depth.
Critic Scott Yanow writes:
“It takes a certain kind of artist these days to carry on the torch passed on from the likes of Nat King Cole, Freddy Cole, Billy Eckstine, and Joe Williams.”
Jazz Weekly writes:
“Rocks swinging style and large voice recall Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole from the 1950’s without closely copying any of them.”
His latest release, Memories Unleashed – Impulse 1, earned sustained national airplay on the JazzWeek Radio Chart, reaching the Top 40 and solidifying his place as one of today’s most compelling interpreters of the Songbook.
Now, for one unforgettable night, Elijah Rock makes his Jack London Review debut, offering an experience that honors the music we love while illuminating the memories that shape us.

Soul’d Out Productions (SOP) was founded in the Pacific NW in 2008 in order to bring a diversity in programming and cultural curation that was sorely lacking. Additionally, SOP has produced thousands of shows and events from LA to Vancouver BC, from Washington DC to NYC and founded the Jazz Fest by Nite series in New Orleans that ran from 2009 – 2019. As producer of the Soul’d Out Festival for 10 years and operator of several successful venues in Portland, SOP has helped evolve the NW musical landscape by changing who gets a ‘seat at the table’ in terms of community building and engagement through the arts.
