Ed Bennett has long been considered one of the West Coast’s premier bass players, and has lived in Portland, Oregon, since 1990. He has toured widely and has worked and recorded with many jazz legends: Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Henderson, and Benny Golson, just to name a few. Here he brings together a quintet of local all-stars for a program of hard-swinging originals performed in a straight-ahead fashion.
